Byanjan is a brand made in Nepal. The name itself is synonymous with royalty and class; which is what Byanjan is committed to deliver through a delightful experience in the kitchen. Although, Byanjan carries a Nepali touch it stands at par with international brands in terms of manufacturing, bottling and packaging. Byanjan is available in two variants: sunflower oil and mustard oil, to cater to the different cuisines and palettes that our country is famous for.
Byanjan Sunflower Oil is imported in crude form from foreign countries and then refined in-house at the state-of-the-art refinery established in Birgunj at the cost of 55 crores. It is then either packaged in laminated pouches, the first of its kind in Nepal or bottled in 1 liter and 2 liter PET bottles, which are also a first for a Nepali brand. Further, Byanjan Sunflower Oil is enriched with Vitamins A and D to support dietary needs of users as per CODEX guidelines. The oil is also treated with E-900 an FDA approved additive, which makes the food absorb less oil, resulting in less sticky food with less smoke; as this increases the smoke point of the oil. The oil has also been tested by SGS laboratory Calcutta for these features and duly certified.
Byanjan Mustard Oil is produced in-house by using First Press Technology to crush mustard seeds. This temperature controlled crushing at the factory itself ensures retention of mustard oil’s natural aroma. The oil is then filtered through a micro filter which removes impurity helping in retaining original taste. There is no artificial flavor added in Byanjan Mustard Oil. The oil has also been tested by SGS laboratory Calcutta for these features and duly certified. Byanjan Mustard Oil is available in 1 liter pouch, 1 liter bottle and 2 liter bottle.
